Gym Ball Exercises
Do you want a super-tight belly? An unbreakable back? Or beautiful glutes? Then the gym ball is your best friend! The gym ball is perfect for a variety of squat variations, such as the wall squat where you place the ball between your back and the wall, and the overhead ball squat where you hold the ball above your head with your arms extended. But there are even more variations on regular exercises – for example, you can do the ball lunge, or what about the standing plank? In short: the gym ball makes your workout more fun and varied!
Gym Ball vs. Chair
More and more often, the regular (office) chair is being replaced by the gym ball! And since sitting is increasingly being seen as “the new smoking,” it’s logical that more people are choosing to spend their workday on a gym ball. The biggest advantage of the gym ball is that you have a lot of freedom of movement, and you’ll notice that you automatically move more. Plus, when sitting on the gym ball, you're always working on your balance, which constantly engages (and relaxes) your back and abdominal muscles. As a result, you’ll naturally adopt better posture than you would on a regular chair.
