Ski boots for kids
Ski Boots for Kids
Ski boots are heavy and not particularly comfortable to walk in. Fortunately, that’s not the purpose of these boots! They clip onto your skis, and from that moment on, you won’t need to walk in them. Ski boots for kids should primarily feel comfortable when standing still and when pressure is applied in a specific way. If you don’t have the right ski boots, it can lead to very painful feet and may even affect your performance while skiing.
When Do Ski Boots Fit Well?
To choose the right size, first stand up straight in the ski boots. Are your toes lightly touching the front of the boot? That’s the goal! Now, assume the "ski position." If the boots fit well, your toes should no longer touch the front. Make sure your heels don’t lift off the sole, as that would indicate that the ski boot is too large. When trying on ski boots, also wear your ski socks, as you’ll be wearing them during your winter sports.
Kids are always growing, and you obviously don’t want to have to buy new ski boots every year. To avoid this, all the kids' ski boots we offer are adjustable, so they effectively grow with your child!
Tip
Always trim your toenails before skiing!
